Join us during Bike Week as we tour on the biggest active travel network on the Island of Ireland!

Uncover the history, geography, engineering and thinking behind the creation of Craigavon and the Black Paths active travel network.

Discover how to travel more actively in the Portadown, Craigavon and Lurgan area.

Find out where all these paths go and how you can create your own active travel routes between Portadown, Craigavon and Lurgan.

  • Leaving from South Lake Leisure Centre - beside bike stands
  • Tours are suitable for all ages and abilities
  • Only 30 places available on each tour
  • Bring your own roadworthy bike, tyres inflated, brakes working & helmet
  • We may have to dismount – wear a pair of trainers
  • We may cross or ride on some main roads for a short time – single file
  • Ride will be postponed in bad weather – check this page for updates
  • Children must be accompanied by adults
  • Tours last approx 1hr 15mins and cover 10–15km of the overall 40km network
  • Different route each day

  • BIKE HIRE: available at South Lake Leisure Centre,  £12.50 Adult and £8.20 (free for ABC members) – contact South Lake Leisure Centre to arrange.
